Pollution control - water quality - monitoring: Outline
Water is supplied by Essex & Suffolk Water and water safety is the overall responsibility of the Drinking Water Inspectorate. The supplier is required to report to Southend Borough Council any water quality failures or problems and the Food Control Team ensures that correct emergency and remedial work is undertaken.
