Southend Theatres
The Palace Theatre
This charming theatre was built at the beginning of the 20th century, opening to the public in 1912, and has been a successful theatre for most of its life. The future of the Palace Theatre is assured, as joint management with the Cliffs Pavilion sees complementary entertainment in Southend.

The Cliffs Pavilion
Opened in 1964, this is the largest purpose-built performing arts complex in Essex and joint second largest in East Anglia and provides a complete cross-section of live entertainment throughout the year to appeal to all interests within the community. Shows include West End Musicals, Top Comedians and Ice Shows.

Cliffs Pavilion Box Office opening times:
10:00 - 20:00 Monday to Saturday
