Libraries - computers and the internet: Outline
In Southend's libraries there are 70 PCs providing Internet, web e-mail and Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint for both adults and children.
Access is via a Southend, Essex or Thurrock library ticket and this gives each customer the use of a PC for a maximum of one hour per day.
In Southend Library there is a self-booking system which allows customers to pre-book a PC up to 7 days ahead. We are sorry, but you cannot pre-book by telephone or email.
