Planning - Local Development Framework: Outline
The adopted Borough Local Plan is now in urgent need of updating to meet the social and economic needs of the town. These needs have changed since 1994, and the Local Development Framework for the Borough must reflect and respond to such changes.
The Constituent Local Development Documents within the Southend on Sea Local Development Framework will once adopted, progressively replace the Borough Local Plan and its First and Second Alterations. The Plan Period will be 2001 -2021.
