Electoral Services are responsible for administering the electoral process in Southend-on-Sea. Our aims are to: 

• prepare and maintain an accurate voters list 
• ensure all eligible residents are registered to vote 
• organise all elections and referendums which take place in the borough 
• promote public understanding of the electoral process 
• provide a quality service that is equally available to all the members of our diverse community
