Cemeteries & Crematorium: Outline
The Council operates one Crematorium and three Council-owned Cemeteries, and also provides a complete burial and maintenance service for the Jewish Cemetery in Stock Road.
There is also a Garden of Remembrance on the Sutton Road site, which covers five acres and includes formal gardens, a sunken rose garden, rock garden and the Woodland Memorial Garden, which includes a special children's feature.
The Cemetery and Crematorium Memorial Chapel and grounds are open to the public 365 days a year, 8.00am to 5.30pm.
Please note that all gates for vehicle access will be locked half an hour before the official closing time.
