What are the Adult Social Care Strategies?

Southend Borough Council's Commissioners are working with residents to co-produce three 5 year Adult Social Care Strategies for 2022 - 2027. There is a strategy for Working Age Adults, All Age Carers and Older Adults.

We are now asking people what they think of the draft strategies.

How can I get involved in the Consultation?

We want you to join in the conversation and your comments and ideas will be considered when we write the final versions of the strategies.

The Living Well Strategy 

For people who might have a disability, a learning disability or mental health needs. 

The Caring Well Strategy 

For people who care for others in an unpaid role, often family members. We are also working with a group of young carers so their views are heard. 

The Ageing Well Strategy 

For people who might need help to live independently or be in supported housing.
