Southend Drama Society presents George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion.

The much-loved story of how Edwardian language professor Henry Higgins transforms Eliza Doolittle from a poor flower girl into a lady in six months, because his friend Colonel Pickering wagers he cannot.  They move Eliza from the streets into Higgins home, but fail to consider what her father will have to say about it and what will become of their protégé once Eliza’s education is complete.
