Q: What does a foster carer need?
Answer:
Time, patience, tolerance, energy and a sense of humour are essentials as is a keen desire to learn and implement new skills. You will need to be able to work in partnership with the other professionals dedicated to taking care of the foster children alongside you be able to advocate on the children’s behalf when necessary.
