Answer:

The Council and its Contractor is resourced to deal with approximately 20 applications per week and the construction of 20 crossings on site. Hence the work on site will be influenced by the clearance of your payment, other requests for crossings and delays which may occur due to the weather or non-availability of materials etc., which are outside the control of the Council. The customer will be advised by the Council of the week in which the work is expected to commence. However, if a tree or lamp column removal is necessary, construction of the crossing could be subject to a significant delay.
