Q: Who is Telecare for?

Q: How do I get Telecare?

Q: Will I have to pay for this service?

Answer:

Telecare equipment is free if your assessment shows that you would benefit from the system. If you do not meet our eligibility criteria, you can still get Telecare, but you would need to make your own arrangements. We can give you information about this.

Monitoring and maintenance of Telecare equipment does carry a charge.

However, we want Telecare to remain affordable, so any future charges will be based on an individual's ability to pay.
