Q: Can I take my battery-powered wheelchair on the bus?
Answer: Yes and no. Unfortunately, some battery-powered wheelchairs and scooters cannot be adequately secured or there is insufficient space for them on Dial-a-Ride vehicles. If you are thinking of getting one, or you are not sure your current wheelchair would fit, please contact our office. We will arrange for someone to visit your home and evaluate whether your chair or scooter can travel on the bus.
