On The Move is our choice based lettings scheme for allocating properties to those registered for Council housing in the borough. 

Applying to go on the Homeseekers Register

You can apply for a property, either from the Council or a Housing Association by completing the Homeseekers Register application form

Once you have completed this form, you will need to supply us with supporting documentation and return to the form to the address below.

Supporting Documentation

We need you to provide all relevent supporting documentation when you complete the Homeseekers Register form. This will prevent delays in dealing with your application.

The supporting documentation is for you and any other people you have put on your application form including, Partners, Children, Lodgers etc

You will need to provide us with at least:

• Proof of ID
• Proof of Income
• Proof of Savings
• Proof of where you live
