Grass Roots Reading Group

Southend Library is pleased to announce the arrival of our latest book group 'The Grass Roots Reading Group'. If you care about the environment and it matters to you where your food comes from, or if you are concerned about animal welfare and want to become an ethical consumer then this group could be for you!

Many of our readers already enjoy the experience of discussing the books they have read within a circle of likeminded people and hearing other readers' views. 'Grass Roots' will read and discuss books close to the groups' heart, often of political and ethical interest.
