Teacher Recruitment from Ireland

The LA and Hays Education have recently formed an exciting new partnership, combining the best of the public and private sector in order to help schools in Southend recruit the best teachers from Ireland.

Although the partnership will focus on newly qualified teachers, there will be the opportunity to recruit more experienced teachers at subject leader or head of department level. Working with the Hays Education recruitment team, schools can specify which subject areas or key stages they require. The Hays team, on behalf of the LA and Southend schools, will be attending the major teacher recruitment fairs in the north and south of Ireland, and they will work with the recruiting school to provide a smooth transition to life in Southend for the newly appointed teacher. Offering guidance and support throughout, Hays will ensure that the process is a straightforward one for both teachers and schools.
