
The Council is responsible for admissions into community schools. This includes admission criteria, the admissions process and admission appeals where an application has been refused.
For Academies, Foundation and Voluntary Aided schools the school governing bodies are responsible for the admission criteria and admission appeals where an application has been refused.
The Council co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Reception, year 3 and year 7 for all schools in the Borough.
Applications for In-year transfers to all schools in the Borough for 2011/12 and 2012/13 will be administered by the Council.
