Southend Pier Museum
Southend Pier Museum brings to life the fascinating past of the longest pleasure pier in the world.
Exhibits include many items of memorabilia such as an original restored working Pier signal box, a restored ex-Pier Toastrack tram c.1890 and train carriages c.1949 together with extensive informative pictorial displays featuring the Pier from 1830 and period costumes. The museum also has a small collection of working old penny slot machines and much more.
The Pier Museum is open from 11am until 5pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays until the 26th October 2013, when it will close for winter. However, times may vary so please contact the Visitor Information Centre using the details on the right prior to your visit.

Children 5-13 years - 50p
Children under 5 - Free
There are no concession prices. Additional donations are always welcome. (Please note prices are subject to change).
