Adopt a Plank
The fund-raising scheme has been introduced to raise money for projects on the Pier that otherwise would not be achievable through usual sources, and since the fire at the Pier Head on 9th/10th October 2005, it is more important than ever that people show their support for the longest pleasure pier in the world!
To adopt a plank costs £60 per individual, or £250 for a commercial sponsor (providing an ideal advertising opportunity). To apply please fill out our Online form which can be found on the right.
Each sponsor will receive a certificate stating their adoption details, and their name will be placed on the Roll of Honour Board in the North Station (shore end) on Southend Pier.
Donated Seats on Southend Pier
Donated seats with a plaque can be placed on Southend Pier, either on the Pavilion Deck at the shore end, or at the Pier Head.
The steel fabricated benches, designed and made by David Ogilvie Engineering, are available in four different nautical designs. Each bench costs £900 (Southend Advantage Card holders £810). This price includes a stainless steel plaque.
