Cultural Centre
About the Centre
On 19th July 2012 the new Cultural Centre on Southend Pier officially opened its doors. The Cultural Centre is the first structure to be added to the pier head since 2000.
Facilities
The Centre is capable of seating 185 people in its main hall, houses a 40 sq m artists' studio, is an Approved Premises to marry with a terrace offering amazing views over the Thames Estuary. The Centre is also home to the newly re-opened pier café currently serving hot drinks and cake, a new menu to follow soon!
There is full disabled access, and toilets and baby changing facilities can be found in the café.
Opening Hours
The Centre and café are free to enter and are open 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day), with opening hours the same as the as the Pier:

Events
