If you are not on the electoral register or have moved house recently, you need to apply to register to vote. Please note that the deadline for registering to vote in time for the UK Parliamentary election is Monday 22nd May 2017.

Alternatively, you can telephone your application through to Southend-on-Sea Electoral Services on 01702 215010, or request that an application form to be sent out.

The deadline for registering to vote for the forthcoming UK Parliamentary election is Tuesday 22nd May 2017.

Voting by Post or Proxy

If you do not wish to attend a polling station on polling day in order to cast your vote, you can apply to vote by post or proxy.

The deadline for a new postal vote or to amend or cancel an existing postal vote is 5pm on Wednesday 23rd May 2017. This is also the deadline for making changes to or cancelling an existing proxy vote.
