Accessing free care provided by the NHS
The term 'continuing care' means care that is provided over an extended period of time, to a person 18 or over, to meet physical or mental health needs that have arisen as a result of disability, accident or illness.
'NHS Continuing Healthcare' means a package of care that is arranged and funded solely by the NHS.
