Stage one - (Takes approximately two months from receipt of your Registration of Interest form)
To help you through the process, an Adoption Advisor will meet with you to explain the adoption process.
At this time, we will contact your references and begin to carry out a Criminal Records checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
What you need to do next
You will be required to pay for an adoption medical with your GP.
Book onto the adoption preparation training - your Adoption Advisor will arrange this.
You will have to complete a workbook on a computer. If you require a paper copy of the workbook, please ask your Adoption Advisor.

Before the formal process begins we will ask you to attend an interview
