Together We Can

Essex County Council and Essex Police have launched a new campaign in partnership with Southend-on-Sea Borough Council and Thurrock Council to raise awareness of domestic abuse and the support available for victims.

The #TogetherWeCan campaign aims to encourage people to talk about domestic abuse and to direct victims to Essex Victims Gateway, where they can receive advice and help.

There’s lots of information on the Victim’s Gateway website about domestic abuse and how Essex Police and our partners can help victims who are in an abusive relationships.

The campaign also aims to encourage people to show their support on social media by spreading the word about the help available for victims of abuse and by retweeting our sign, which can be downloaded at: essex.police.uk/togetherwecan

To get involved in the campaign, please follow @SouthendBC on Twitter and retweet our sign to encourage victims to seek help.

If you think that you or someone you know is being subjected to domestic abuse then please go to our page www.essexvictimsgateway.org for advice and support.
