Disabled Parking Provision

blue badge sign

The Blue Badge Disabled Parking Scheme allows individuals with a permanent severe physical disability that seriously affects their mobility, to park closer to shops and amenities.

A charge of £10 is made for all successful new, renewal and replacement Blue Badges applications and they are valid for up to 3 years. There is no charge if your application is unsuccessful. Blue Badge holders can park free of charge all day in most Southend-on-Sea Borough Council car parks. Concessions also include free parking in most on-street car park spaces and parking for up to 3 hours on some double yellow lines. See the link below for more detailed information on where you may park.
