View and Comment on Planning Applications Online

Planning history files

With effect from 1st August 2011, paper files will no longer be available. Requested planning history files will be made available electronically.

Pre 2000

The electronic file will be made available to view within 20 working days, unless it is a large/contentious development that has a lot of paperwork, in which case the Planning Team will contact you directly to advise of a date when the documents will be available. You will then need to come into the Civic Centre where you will be assisted with viewing the file. Only A4 and A3 copies will be made available (laws of copyright apply) should the customer wish to have print outs and a small charge may apply.

Post 2000

The planning register which includes Plans and Decision Notices will be made available to view online within 20 working days after the request unless it is a large/contentious development that has a lot of paperwork in which case the Planning Team will contact you directly to advise of a date when the documents will be available. Please note, however, that other documents may form part of the planning file and these can only be viewed electronically at the Civic Centre. You can view online plans here.
