Bulky or Awkward Items

Before you book a bulky collection have a think about whether your item can be reused - either in a charity shop, by somebody else, or maybe in your own home but as something else?

Charitable organisations can often collect and reuse good quality unwanted household items. For more information please see our Waste Minimisation - Reuse section.

How do I arrange a collection?

Cory Environmental provide a chargeable kerbside collection of bulky/awkward items for residents who are unable to either donate items to charity or take them to a Household Waste Recycling Centre.

To book in a collection you need to contact us on 01702 215006.

To ensure that collections run as smoothly as possible please ensure that:

• Items are accessible and placed at the front edge of your property 
• Payment should be made before presenting your item for collection. Please do not present items too far in advance as they are likely to attract fly-tipping and littering 
• Fridges/freezers are defrosted, with any shelves removed and presented at the side
