Southend-on-Sea's Leisure Centres

Further to the Swimming Review March 2009 & the 14th June 2011 Cabinet Report it should be noted that following a constructive meeting in September between Southend on Sea Swimming Club, Borough of Southend Swimming Club, Amateur Swimming Association and Southend Borough Council progress has been made on some of the significant issues identified in the Swimming Development and Clubs Report.  

Meetings with Club Representatives are ongoing and if progress can be maintained at this level, a new report will be presented to Cabinet in March 2012 detailing the joint working arrangements of the two clubs in Southend.
