Council Housing Adaptations

The Adaptations Team work in partnership with South Essex Homes in delivering specialist housing through recycling of adapted homes. The team also provides major adaptations and can improve access if necessary for residents.

A major adaptation could include an adapted bathroom, kitchen, extensions or access alterations

The majority of our work is referred to us from the community Occupational Therapy team or from our own Senior Housing Occupational Therapist who will assess the needs of the client.

The Adaptations Team aim to provide specialist housing and adaptations to the residents of South Essex Homes in a reasonable time scale and to a high standard.
