South Essex Homes is an Arms Length Management Organisation wholly owned by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council. South Essex Homes was set up in October 2005 and manages and maintains approximately 6230 council homes and 550 leasehold properties on our behalf.

The Company has been established to achieve the Decent Homes Standard by December, 2010 and has successfully bid for around £60 million to achieve this standard.
