- Partnership Officer
We are looking to recruit a high calibre, highly motivated individual with experience and understanding of partnership working and engagement with a wide variety of key stakeholders. You will play a key role in the team’s work of supporting Southend Together, the Local Strategic Partnership as well as assisting in awarding grants on behalf of Southend Borough Council to the Voluntary & Community Sector in Southend.
An ability to work individually, as part of a team, and with a range of internal and external partners is essential, as is, knowledge and understanding of the role of performance management. You will need excellent communication skills and well developed skills in the use of ICT systems including: email, spreadsheet, database and word processing. It is also essential that you have excellent planning and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise effectively.
Knowledge of current issues affecting the voluntary and community sector, local government and the rest of the public sector particularly in relation to partnership working is essential.
