Kids and their families have another chance to come and try out cycling activities.
For the second year running, Cycle Southend is holding a 'Bikes in the Park' event in Cluny Square.
The occasion, taking place Saturday 18th September from 1pm, will offer chances for children to try mountain biking on their unique North Shore track and younger children to test their skills on a Go Ride course.
The day is being sponsored by M & L Ambulance Services Ltd, and has been organised by Councillor Peter Asnley and the Pear Tree Association from Cluny Square in collaboration with Cycle Southend.
Councillor Mark Flewitt, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Planning and Transport says: "I would like to say a big thank you to all involved in the organisation of this event, in particular Councillor Ashley and Cycle Southend."
"This was a great success last year, with nearly two hundred children turning up. It would be great if we could emulate this success further this year, so make sure you get yourself down to Cluny Square!"
