Tots to raise cash for Pudsey!

Local Children are bringing out their slippers in aid of Children in Need!

The Small Steps Day Nursery at Southend Leisure & Tennis Centre is hosting a pyjama party on Tuesday 16th November from 7.30am to 6.30pm

Both staff and children attending the nursery will wear their favourite nightwear to support this year's Children in Need event, with parents and carers of the children being asked to make a donation in exchange for their child joining in.

Your child doesn't have to be a member of the nursery, as all are invited to join in the fun on the day. If enough people express an interest in taking part before the event a bouncy castle will be inflated in the main hall.

Children will also have the opportunity to bring in their favourite bedtime story book, which childcare staff will read to them while they drink their milk and eat their biscuits.

The day will be packed with fun and games, with lots of activities for the children to participate in throughout the day, all based around the theme of bedtime.

Councillor Derek Jarvis , Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Culture, said: "Children in Need is a very worthwhile cause and I am very pleased that Small Steps is doing its bit!

This is a fundraising event, so please come along with your children and dig deep into your pockets and donate generously."

For more information on how to get involved please contact Small Steps on 01702-442914.
