Small Steps Day Nursery at the Chase Sports and Fitness Centre will open its doors to local families on Saturday 11th December between 11am and 4pm.
While parents take in the facilities available at the nursery their children will have the opportunity to make Christmas decorations, decorate biscuits and paint pictures to take home. There will also be a bouncy castle. Please be aware that parents or carers will have to stay with their children to supervise them at all times.
Councillor Derek Jarvis, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Culture, said: "This day is an opportunity for local families to have a look at the affordable childcare on offer right on their doorstep, and their children the opportunity of some festive fun."
Small Steps Day Nursery offers full day care, sessional day care, after school clubs and pre- school and holiday clubs. There are currently vacancies for children in all of these provisions. Childcare staff will be present on the day to provide more information and to answer any questions parents or carers may have.
The day is free to attend. Biscuits and soft drinks will be provided for the children and refreshments for adults will be available for purchase in the Cappuccino Bar.
