Songmen sing up

Six professional musicians are set to deliver spectacular singing at a concert on Friday 18th March at the Plaza Centre, Southend.
The group, called The Songmen, was formed in 2008 and is already reputed to be one of the country's finest and most versatile a capella groups.
Ensemble members perform unaccompanied songs from Medieval to Contemporary by composers ranging from Byrd to Irving Berlin.
There is something to suit all tastes from this talented group which presents its programmes in an unusual and entertaining way.
This is another concert in Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Chamber music series, offering high quality cultural events at affordable prices - £9 (or £8 concessions.) Tickets for members of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Concert Club are available at £7 (or £6 concessions).
