Music for St George’s Day

Celebrate St George’s Day in style with a concert of British music dating back to the time of Handel, Purcell and Croft.
This will be performed by the spectacular professional violin and harpsichord duo Duo Dorado.
They will also include works by other major composers from the baroque era.
Duo Dorado performs across the UK and Europe appearing in major festivals of Early Music, including the Early Music Festival of Barcelona.
The Duo makes regular recordings and broadcasts across Europe .
This concert at the Plaza Centre is the next event in Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's concert series.
The venue offers parking, comfortable seating, facilities for visitors with disabilities and also a small cafe for refreshments before and during the concert.
Tickets are £7.50 and £6.50 for non members - or £5 and £4.50 for members of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Concert Club
