Splash out at Belfairs this summer!

Crash courses for children who lack confidence in water or who cannot swim are on offer at Belfairs Swim Centre this summer.
The daily, half-hour classes take place at the Swim Centre in Fairview Gardens, off Eaton Road, Leigh, SS9 3PE and it costs £19.50 per five-day course.
Two classes are being run each day at 9am and at 9.30am on the following dates
- Monday 25th July to Friday 29th July
- Monday 1st August to Friday 5th August
- Monday 22nd August to Friday 26th August
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis, said: "We hope as many children as possible who can't swim, or who are wary of water, will be encouraged to attend these classes.
"They offer an ideal opportunity to help children overcome any fears they may have about water and show them how they can thoroughly enjoy swimming."
