It’s time to don your spookiest, scariest rags and hop on down to Southend Civic Centre for the first Fun Family Fright Ride.
Hosted by Cycle Southend, riders will receive a guided Halloween adventure around town that will be full of jumps and surprises.
Setting off from the front entrance of the Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend, at 5:30pm on Monday 31st October, riders will be tricked and treated on some of Southend's new cycle routes.
They will also be with a refreshment break around the half-way point in front of Southend Sea Life Adventure on Marine Parade, Southend.
Executive Councillor for Public Protection, Waste and Transport, Councillor Tony Cox, said: "The routes were recently implemented in order to improve connections across town, reduce congestion and pollution, as well as encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
"The Fun Family Fright Ride gives us a chance to show off our brilliant new improvements while giving you a fantastic family treat for this Halloween."
