Christmas magic will be snowing down in Southend soon – and Santa has decided to make a stop at his favourite seaside town.
Santa will be taking a break from sorting the naughty from the nice to spread festive cheer and provide an enchanting family day out when he sets up his grotto at Southend Pier.
The grotto will be open from 10am to 4pm every weekend from Saturday 26th November to Sunday 18th December.
Visitors will be able to make sure their Christmas lists are received by telling Santa their wishes in person, as well as receiving a free gift and an exciting ride on the Pier train.
Councillor Derek Jarvis, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of this busy period and spend precious time with the family.
"Hosted at our proudest landmark, Santa on the Pier is a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit and embrace this festive season."
Tickets cost £5 per child but Santa is a busy man with Christmas around the corner and booking is essential to avoid disappointment. For tickets please contact 01702-618747 or 01702-215120.
