Cold-caller warning

Cold-callers have been targeting residents in Southend asking for information about their televisions.
Sky telephone customers have received calls from the number 02083-667956 and have been asked for details including their television's age and where it was bought from.
'UK Trader' is one company name that has been used.
Mick Holland, of Southend Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, said: "Our advice would be to terminate the call without divulging any personal details.
"If your phone has caller display, ignore calls from this number and consider asking your service provider to block it."
Residents are reminded never to give out any personal or banking details over the phone unless absolutely certain the caller is genuine.
If in doubt, hang up the phone and report the matter to Consumer Direct on 0845-404 0506.
