Dig your swimsuits out mums and dads, because it’s adult swim time at Warriors Swim Centre, Warrior Square, Southend.
Anyone over the age of 16 is eligible for these sessions.
This is your chance to be fit and healthy, have a good time swimming and socialising for the great price of £3.60 per visit.
Swimming is a proven form of exercise that has no serious impact on any of the joints whilst improving the cardio-vascular system at the same time.
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Culture, Councillor Derek Jarvis said:"Swimming fits in with all lifestyles and is very entertaining for people who are just starting out, or for experienced exercisers looking for a new challenge."
The initiative takes place Mondays from 7:30-9:30am and 12:30-2pm. On Tuesdays the times are 7:30am-9:30am and 12pm-2pm. On Wednesday it is 7:30am-1:30pm and 7pm-9:30pm. The times on Thursday are 7:30am-9:30am and 10:30am-2pm. Finally on Friday, sessions are 7:30am -9am and 12:30-2pm.
