Spectacular summer choir concerts

Southend Girls’ and Boys Choirs Summer Concerts. Starting on Saturday 3rd July 7:30pm Plaza Centre, Southchurch Road, Southend – and other venues.

Young singers of the choirs with 140 members are performing at exciting venues in Britain and abroad over the next few weeks.

On Saturday 3rd July at 7.30pm Southend Girls' Choir performs at the Plaza Centre, Southchurch Road , with Southend Choral Society's stirring 'Night at the Opera' programme.
On Friday 9th July at 8pm at Holy Trinity Church , Southchurch Boulevard , Southend, 38 members of the choirs will give a concert including music featured in their summer tour to California .
On Monday 12th July at 1pm at St Martin's in the Fields Church , Trafalgar Square , London , Southend Girls' Choir gives a lunchtime concert
On Friday 16th July at 8pm at St Saviours Church, Kings Road , Westcliff, the Choirs will sing to raise funds for Fair Havens Hospice.

During the summer, 12 of the young singers will rehearse and perform Puccini's 'La Boheme' with British Youth Opera.
