Carriageway closure – City Beach

The eastbound carriageway of Marine Parade will be closed between Hartington Road and Southchurch Avenue on Friday (July 2).
This is to enable resurfacing and kerb works to a new carriageway as part of the City Beach scheme.
During the closure, which will take place during the daytime, a fully signed diversion will be in place.
Traffic will be re-routed via Hartington Road , Lucy Road , Herbert Grove and Queensway/Southchurch to the Kursaal.
Deliveries to seafront traders will not be affected whilst this closure takes place.
The Council would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this closure might cause, but every effort is being made to keep disruption to a minimum.
