A new Southend oasis for refreshments will be available from tomorrow, Saturday 18th August, when Warrior Square Gardens Kiosk reopens.
The kiosk will be open seven days a week from 11am until 3pm throughout the rest of August and most of September, serving tasty treats including paninis, sandwiches, teas, coffees, soft drinks and ice cream.
It will be managed on behalf of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council by Parkwood Community Leisure, which runs the Council's leisure facilities including Café Vita at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre.
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council's Executive Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Councillor Derek Jarvis said: "The kiosk is in a great location.
"When the sun is shining people can enjoy their coffee and either sit on the grass or the benches within Warrior Square Gardens - or at one of the tables immediately outside the kiosk.
"So if you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the High Street and want to relax in the sun - or are just looking for somewhere different to take your lunch break - Warrior Square Gardens will be the place to go."
