Music at Southend Bandstand!

Southend Bandstand’s summer music season closes with two harmonious and spectacular concerts on Sunday 23rd and Sunday 30th September.
Since April, the Bandstand in Priory Park has resounded to jazz duos, big bands, vocal groups, choirs, school bands, brass bands, wind bands and much more.
This month, the Bandstand was the East of England's flagship event for the National Bandstand Marathon, attracting crowds of more than 500.
On Sunday 23rd September, from 3pm until 5pm, Southend Wind Orchestra will perform music to suit all tastes.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 30th September from 3pm until 5pm the Essex-based saxophone quartet, Saxology, signs off the summer season with a programme of lively and entertaining music.
The group is always extremely well-received.
This is the fifth season of hugely popular performances at Southend Bandstand in Priory Park, Victoria Avenue, Southend, promoted by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council.
These are free and open to everyone of all ages. There is limited parking and seating is provided.
