A free violin and piano concert takes place at Southend Civic Centre on Wednesday 10th October at 12:15pm

Violinist Hannah Woolmer and pianist Larysa Khmurych will present a programme of popular violin and piano music on Wednesday 10th October.

Their performance, from 12:15pm is the latest recital in the free lunchtime concerts series promoted by Southend-on-Sea Borough Council at Southend Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend.

Hannah is a regular performer across the county, both as a solo player and in orchestras.

She has recordings to her name and has recently performed in Ely Cathedral in addition to recitals in Bristol, Norwich and London.

Larysa was born in the Ukraine and studied there before coming to the UK.

Both players are keen music educators and work in a variety of settings both mainstream and with children with disabilities.

Their programme at the Civic Centre will include Mozart Sonata in G Major, works by Elgar and Beethoven Sonata in A minor.

The concert, which lasts for 45 minutes, is free with a retiring collection, and all are welcome to attend.

This series offers young musicians an excellent platform for solo and chamber recitals.
