Resurfacing of Cambridge Road and Scratton Road

Scratton Road and Cambridge Road are being closed overnight for four nights for resurfacing

Residents are advised of temporary road closures for four nights for essential resurfacing works on Cambridge Road and Scratton Road, Southend.

 

These take place between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday 7th November, Thursday 8th November, Friday 9th November and Monday 12th November.

During these times, vehicles are prohibited from:

  • Entering, waiting, loading and unloading on Cambridge Road and Scratton Road
  • Waiting, loading/unloading on Cambridge Road from Trinity Avenue to Wilson Road
  • Waiting, loading/unloading on Westcliff Parade the south side from Wilson Road to Marine Avenue

At the same time, one-way traffic flows will be temporarily suspended to allow two-way traffic temporarily at: Milton Place and Trinity Avenue.

Vehicles belonging to Essex Police, Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, and the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust, are not affected by these temporary closures
