Heath and Social Care Apprenticeship with Southend Adult Community College and Southend Borough Council

Are you interested in a career in health and social care? Are you interested in working with people and caring for them while at the same time studying for a qualification in health and social care? Are you struggling to gain employment opportunities due to a lack of experience? Are you looking to train and learn new skills under a team of experienced professionals?

Southend Adult Community College is currently offering up to ten health and social care apprenticeships with Southend Borough Council. This is an incredible opportunity to gain paid working experience with a high quality employer. You will be paid throughout your apprenticeship and receive training and mentorship from experts in the care industry.

With the full support of the College and Southend Borough Council the scheme is open to young people aged between 18 and 24 years.

Full training will be given but the Council is looking for candidates who are confident communicators and have basic numeracy and literacy skills, you will have the opportunity to learn new specialist skills that will allow you to provide the best care possible for your service users.
