Opening Times, Ticket Prices and Pier Train Information
We will re-open on a Monday and Tuesday commencing Monday 31st March 2014. Our opening times will still be winter hours – 09.15 to 17.00 everyday.
Spring hours will commence on Monday 7th April 2014 – 08.15 to 18.00 Mon to Fri & 08.15 to 20.00 Sat & Sun.
Southend Pier is open every day; all year round except for Christmas Day. The Pier is suitable for all ages and both the walkway and Pier trains have disabled access.
If you need a wheelchair, you can hire one from the Visitor Information Centre by calling them in advance on 01702 618747.
The Pier toilets are inside the Royal Pavilion.
Please note: The last entry onto the Pier is one hour before closing. Opening times are seasonal and may change annually.

Pier Train Information
Pier Trains leave the shore end of the Pier on every hour and half hour from opening until one hour before closing.
The trains leave the Pier Head every quarter to and quarter past the hour until 15 minutes before closing.
At peak times a two train service is operated. Trains leave both ends at a quarter past, half past, a quarter to, and on the hour.
Please note: No dogs or pets are allowed on Southend Pier except for assistance dogs.
