Failure to pay your Business Rates
Each year in March a Non-Domestic Rate demand is issued to you detailing your instalments for the forthcoming financial year. If you pay by Direct Debit you can pay your balance over as many as twelve monthly instalments. If you pay using any other method of payment you can only pay over a maximum of ten monthly instalments.
If you take responsibility of the Business rates at a property after 1st April in any financial year the number of instalments that you may pay by will be reduced accordingly.
If you fail to pay by the instalments outlined on your Non-Domestic Rate demand you may be issued with one of, a combination of or all of the notices described below.
