Fishing at Southend Pier

With a choice of location from where to fish on Southend Pier - the Stem or the Pier Head - it's a great place for anglers who could land mackerel, plaice or flounder.

Fishing passes are required and are available to anyone, offering the opportunity for fishermen to pursue their sport at any time of day or night - with the appropriate card on Southend Pier.

A Night or Combined Day & Night pass can only be applied for by a current member of a recognised fishing club, having been a member for at least 6 months.

A child is considered to be between the ages of 3 and 16 and must be accompanied by an adult when fishing on Southend Pier.
